Whohooo for Thursday!!

I can't wait for this to come back!!

Update...

So here is my update on the Target incident...I checked the newspapers and local news and never saw anything so I'm assuming it was nothing.

I'm sorry things have been so busy lately and when I am home Seth needs the computer to finish things for finals. I'll try to be better about posting. I hope you all are doing well!!

But What IF???

So today I ran to Target today during my lunch break. As I was walking in the store I passed a car and noticed a patch of hair sticking out of the trunk of a car. I thought a few things all at once. Is there a body in there? No, maybe it's a mannequin. Maybe it's a patch of hair as a joke - you know like - ha ha there's a body in my trunk. Maybe the driver is a beautician. Am I on a hidden camera show? And so on. I grabbed the two things I needed in the store and started back to my car. I passed the car again...hair is still there. I tried to look closer to see if the hair looked real. It didn't look like fake barbie hair. I thought since it was a newer car if someone was in the trunk they could use the trunk release button if they were conscious. I tried to rationalize everything and then thought but "what if...". What if it's really someone. What if this is real. What if I'm the only person who says something. I think for a few seconds and decide I need to do something. I look around for security, grab a pen a piece of paper from my purse and write down a description of the car and license plate number all while trying not to look suspicious myself. I go back into Target and find two store workers in the front of the store. I asked if they had security here, explained the situation and give them the paper. I figured if security checked it out and found it suspicious they could call the police. Sorry, I don't know how this even ended. I choose to think it's nothing and I did all I could. What would you do??

My New Addiction

I have a new addiction.
It's one I don't think I share with many people so I understand if this sounds crazy to you.
I'm addicted to getting my hair thinned.

It started in January when I last cut my hair. I think I already shared with you how amazing it was to be able to put my hair in a ponytail using only one rubber band. Within a few weeks I could feel my hair getting thicker and growing out. I got my hair cut again Friday and thinned even more. It's FANTASTIC! I have to wrap the rubber band around my hair three times now!! It's usually one time to pull it back loosely and two times around to be tight. I know many of you don't understand this but for those of you with thick hair...if I can reach one of you to let you know there is more out there then my job is done. I'm so excited to find clips and different hair styles I can do now! Whohoo!!

Poll Results

78% of you can't live without your computer and only 3% can't live without your cell phones. TV and microwaves had no votes. I was pretty surprised about that but I guess the computer has everything now. You can watch TV shows online, chat with people...it's crazy. Have you ever been without a microwave?? I remember trying to heat up left over lasagna in a frying pan on the stove....it was difficult. In any case enjoy your week!

Happy Spiritual Birthday!

I've always loved today. Not because I'm good at pranks, or reacting to pranks pulled on me but because I was baptized today...too many years ago to count. I remember my dad saying he was going to hold me under the water...that scared me but apparently that was an "April Fools" joke. My stake growing up didn't have a stake center or baptismal font so we were all baptized in spa's and pools. I was baptized at my house in my spa. It's pretty unique (check out the shoes above...sad to see some of them come back in style). I always enjoy celebrating today.

54% of you thought we should probably boycott the Olympic but didn't want to and 27% thought we shouldn't. One person said we should and I love the one person who said they didn't know, didn't care. Funny. Thanks for voting! I hope we don't. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Olympics. Look for my count down to begin soon!

Two Thumbs Up!

Last night Seth took me to dinner to a place I've been wanting to try. It's called Pei Wei and is right down the street. It's the take out version of PF Change, which is wonderful! We went not knowing what to expect and LOVED it! We even had it for dinner tonight again (so bad,I know). They have a yummy honey glazed chicken thing we both ate last night. They even serve brown rice, if that makes you feel better. If there is one near you....go try it!!
